First advance is not crap but not on point. I mean it lacks some funk. When you hear "Locs at nite", the Kokane solo joint on the Doggystyle allstar compilation, you would expect much more from Kokane.

Imma hook you with a compil with the best of his solo work, for the sceptics like Mr Madsen, so you have a better taste of what Kokane is really about..

Advance 1 is dope but loses it's way towards the end. Lack of song concepts I felt..

Advance 2 (which isn't even an album clocking in at 83+ mins..) is more like the Doggystyle Allstars disc in character rather than a typical solo.

Dope cuts on both! :bandit:

Look forward to that hand picked selection Rosa 8) 8)

each its own i guess..

but that is certified crap..
im glad Snoop didnt put that bullshit out, shoudlve been Butch Cassidy, Soopafly or LaToya

Don't agree that it's crap obviously, but damn seems Snoop wouldn't have pushed Kokane whatever he though eh ;)

if anthin, Kokane was the artist on his label that Snoop actually supported.
Snoop was a popular guestrapper even then, n he used to
bring Kokane wit him - on alot of the songs he was invited to.
he did movies and shows, n brought Kokane wit him (like "old school" etc)

still wasnt feelin his situation over at Dogghouse,
cuz Snoop didnt release his album - so he yapped his mouth.
Soopafly spazzed out at him in some interview, n told the truth - the album was wack,
hence no release.
who could blame em tho?
 :P

i wish i could find that damn interview, Soopafly went hard on him
