Germany is the biggest hiphop market outside of America.

We're on different wavelengths here pal.

High sales in Germany = even bigger sales worldwide.

Meaning high sales in Germany matter to international Rap artists...

This ain't a nitpick anecdote type discussion..

like I said, name one example. If Germany can't make an artist big then its irrelevant in the scheme of things. Especially in this discussion. No matter how many times they bump Wet in Germany, its not going to have a big impact on Snoop's overall sales.

Im not surprised...all he fans screamimg for a more Wes Coast sounding album...and Snoop "for the most part" delivers...yet all these so called fans ain't buying it...Snoop simply trying to get his paper...

before I make a comment on this... WillB why are you fighting over and defending Snoop Dogg in every post... it's like son, we KNOW you're a huge fan and supporter of Tha DPG, we know what you're gonna say, we know how u feel, we know that you're going to try 2 convince us into feeling and thinking tha way u feel and believe, u look like u gettin T-Bagged by Kurupt's Pitbulls or The Lady of Rage's chuwawa's... it's like son, u look like u have a vasectomy/got neutered... grab ya balls son, let em hang low if u gonna let em hang, be your own man and stop being a bitch... ain't chu like 36 anyway, why u over here lookin' thirsty, Snoop Dogg don't care about u homie #reallife and that nigga SpiceTwo be right up there with these niggaz smh... - in other words, we already get it

no love loss, y'all niggaz just look mad corny talkin about Tha Dogg Pound EVERY SINGLE FUCKIN DAY, even with albums out it's not that serious...

And tha point I was going to make at BC's comment: Snoop Dogg didn't deliver on "Tha Doggumentary" production wise, it wasn't WestCoast, it was Bootsy Collins mixed with a little BattleCat and that was that... that's not WestCoast, that's not delivering. Snoop Dogg needs instrumentals like "No Hand Outs or Favors" (and nobody is saying that it has to be all that modern at all really, just some classic ass looped sample with a synth on it and a bass guitar and niggaz will be fine, add some songs about gettin high and stories about niggaz u know been in tha Pen and Tha County and you'll have a TRUE classic, a westcoast classic even). Snoop Dogg needs to step up his production choices for his albums and get some rock star shit that'll make everybody blow their heads off again.

If not he just needs 2 keep doin what Snoop Dogg do in tha spotlight and release albums and mixtapes like he's been doin since 09' and he'll be fine, i mean he's Snoop Dogg, "Doggystyle" came out 18 years ago... Metallica's "Black Album" wasn't even that popular in 05' (just an analogy), niggaz ain't hanging on like that like that even tho "Doggystyle" still gets a thoro spin from front 2 back from time 2 time it's not a Snoop Dogg bar deal breaker anymore in real life, he just needs that ghetto funk. But i can rest u assured that if he keeps playing this role he'll eventually have 2 bow out gracefully sooner than later.

http://www.youtube.com//v/9PasElEvccc - not overly or underly produced and everybody in tha band left their soul in tha music, you just dont get that anymore... too much digital drums clogging the tracks nowadays... everything doesn't need to be produced with a Shawty Redd/Soulja Boy drum pattern template.

and yeah i know i picked tha perfect song right (i'm being sarcastic to those who ain't hip) but when I say "ghetto funk" this is what i mean, it's laidback, GUTTER (which has been missing from Snoop's catalog), Sampled foreal foreal (and not a b.s. "This Weed Iz Mine" lazy sample), i mean how fuckin' hard is it to just give tha people what they want and how they want it, tha nigga worries about meshing his music up with his image too much and tha balancing act sometimes produces mistakes like "Tha Doggumentary"... a good album but he's obviously worried about sounding commercial,,, like son you're Snoop Dogg you're gonna do fine anyway and anyhow u do it lol...smh, some niggaz just don't understand man.........

I bought it in Paris and it didn't have the David Guetta remix on it but anyway I don't think album is garbage at all and in fact it's his best release since Tha Blue Carpet treatment imo
Overall there's a bunch of unnecessary fillers on it but still more than half of the record is really coo.

imo the most part of the album is bangin, and i like the dance songs a lot. my fucn house is bangin, boom is bangin, platinum is bangin, so wet is bangin, the remix is bangin too.

but i also like the classic joints like my own way, take u home, el lay, the way life used to be, i dont need no bitch, gangbang rookie.

yeah its funny with people, everybody have their own opinions, but its funny that someone is using album sales as guidelines ifs something is good or not...
personally i think he tryed to satify all his peers this time, he have the g funk songs, he have the party songs. He have wet and boom for the dance people in europe.
