The only criticism I would have of Method Man, was that although he had a classic album as a group, 36 Chambers. He failed to produce a classic album as a solo artist. He had a couple of classic cuts as a solo artist with "All I Need" and "Bring The Pain", but him and Rza should of took more time and turned that shit into something on the level of an Illmatic or a Ready To Die.
just ask the real question you want to ask...get straight to the real lolwhat you wanted to say was "how does method man compare to eminem?"amirite? dont front...
I mean, bring a part of Wu-Tang already puts him in the elite status.Wouldn't find him in my top ten though.
Wouldn't find him in my top ten
not even in my top 50.
I think Meth is a better rapper than he'll probably get credit for. Rap fans sort of have a "What Have You Done For Me Lately?" relationship with artists but while Method Man's solo discography might not be the best in his group, I'd say he was probably one of the best artists in there. As far as rap artists go, he's in the top percentile regardless of where y'all place him on your individual top 10's, 20's, or 50's.
plus, no rapper in hiphop-history has re-used as many verses or rhymes as Meth - thats a very big L
