Do these polls ever generate anything near an interesting conversation? And the result is always the same. Everyone loves Doggystyle and most agrees about the rest in varying orders. Who cares?

Damn, the results are nearly perfect.

Doggystyle's the obvious clear cut #1. After that, it's almost tied btwn Last Meal and Top Dogg, and then I'd say Blue Carpet. From there, it can go any direction...each album was heeeeella hit and miss. Doggfather had some great tracks, but too many bland horrid tracks. Paid da cost really didn't have but 2-3 filler songs, but not many true standouts. Game is to be sold was great in High School when we loved the No Limit sound, and it's cool on some nostalgia, but some of it sounds fucking HOOOOOOOORRIBLE now. Ego Trippin had some good album cuts and "Life of the party" is great, but it had some misses too. Doggumentary is fresh and hard to judge, but my favorite song is "Wonder what it do" which is really an Uncle Chucc song.

So yeah...it's almost a 3-4 way tie after the top four.

I only really value three of Snoop's solo albums... The obvious being Doggystyle, then after that I think Top Dogg was a great comeback record... and tha Last Meal was a solid album top to bottom.   The Doggfather was great in retrospect but considering the hype Snoop had back in 1996 it was easily my biggest dissapointment as a hip-hop fan, followed by his Game is To Be Sold album that was trash.

Snoop really found himself again back in 99-01' with the first Eastsidaz album and the Top Dogg, Last Meal records.
