Yeah, of course there is question about whose coming out of the West.

The Lakers are better than ever & they're underachieving. The Heat are just amazing. Simple as that. They would have just as easy a road even if they were in the West. 8)

LOL...Thunder would beat Heat. Mavs would stand a good chance, as well....Lakers and Heat will be the Finals, so we don't really have to speculate on that one, we'll just see for ourselves 8)

I said from the start of the season it was going to the Lakers & Heat. Lakers mostly because it's a joke how much better they are then the rest of the league. You're just saying the road is hard because it looks good for the Lakers. But in reality, the Lakers should win every series they play these playoffs in no more than five games. Except against the Heat in the Finals.

But yeah, continue fighting your speculation battles lol.

That's not what you said. You said they would beat the Heat. I agree they have a better chance of being the Heat (well, the Thunder anyway), but they still aren't better than the Heat lol.

i do think thunder would beat the heat, hell yea...with perkins and ibaka down low + durant and westbrook on the perimeter....heat lack size, they will beat chicago because chicago lacks scorers and they will beat boston because boston lacks size....but the mavs have size+scorers and so do the thunder...hence, my original statement, that the heat have an easy road to the finals, which was idioticly shot down by teecee before he even gave it thought.

But like I said, the Lakers have an easy road too, by default. You have plenty of height & somebody "better than Jordan". As far as depth goes & on paper, you're hands down the best team in the league. It would be an embarrassment if you guys didn't make it to the Finals.

how are we "deep"? our bench has sucked all playoffs, and our second best player is being outplayed by his little brother, who was a 2nd round pick......we have a good team, but i've never seen someone overrate a team depth as much as u do with the Lakers. Mavs and Thunder match up better with the Lakers than anyone in the East matches up with the Heat.

Your "sixth man" is a starter on 98% of the teams in the league & an all-star if he played in the East.

& match-up my dick. You're still hands down better. & who cares how Pau is playing? Like I said, you're underachieving. You're a far superior team than any team in the West, you're just not playing like it.

The fucked up thing is none of these teams are playing GREAT basketball, except for maybe the HEAT, although their series against the Sixers was closer than the 4-1 series win would indicate.

Dallas= soft as fuck, and not clutch.  I can see them getting one more against L.A. but that should be it.  Too old, too soft.

Miami= not deep enough.  Poor ball movement (although it's looked good last two games against Celts); Lebron's killer instinct is questionable, Bosh shits the bed every other game, and if their role players are off, which is often, they have no chance to beat L.A.  Great team defense though.  If Miami wins this year with this line-up, then the rest of the league should just give up...

ATL- reliance on outside game does not win championships (unless you've got a Hakeem down low, and go inside-out).  Will lose to Chicago in 6.

L.A.= best team on paper, but damn do they do some dumb shit.  Artest is an enigma, Gasol can be a straight pussy, Odom is inconsistent, Kobe is not what he once was.   You don't know what you are gonna get with this team, but you know if Kobe and his team are on their game, then no one should beat these guys.   Period.

Memphis=  fun to watch, deep, solid down low, but lacking a true game changer (Randolph?  i don't think so).  Will lose to OKC in 6.  8th seeds do not belong in conference finals.  Would get swept by Lakers

OKC=  Westbrook makes horrible decisions, and Perkins is hella overrated.  These guys are soft inside.  Will not have a chance to beat Lakers.  PERIOD.

Boston= too old, not big enough in side without a Perkins or Shaq to take up space.  Going down in 5 or 6 to Heat.

Chicago= predictable offense; as someone else said, these guys are like Lebron's Cava's, but with better role players and a weaker star.  Will give Miami a definite run, but lose in 6 or 7.

This year, more than any in recent memory, the playoffs are wide open, but it's only because teams are not playing great basketball  (only Memphis is realizing their potential).

The East is weak, the West is weak, so it'll most likely be a Miami-Lakers series, and the Lakers should win it.  It'll be interesting though; both teams are capable of imploding.

all teams left in the west currently have an "all-star" caliber player on their team coming off the bench...

jason terry for dallas
oj mayo for memphis
and james harden for oklahoma

nothing "amazing" like ur makin it seem.

LOLOLOLOL. Jason Terry shoots threes, nothing else. OJ Mayo has potential to be an all-star, but he isn't yet anyway; sure when he is at that level he'll be starting. LOL, James Harden is like a homeless man's Lamar Odom.

I'm taking that personally on behalf of Lamar Odom that you put these guys in the same league. :grumpy:

Jason Terry is not just a good shooter, he's a good scorer...he can flat out put the ball in the basket, and is a potential 20+ point scorer on any given night. he's definitely had all-star caliber seasons...OJ Mayo came into the league as a first option...James Harden still has some growing to do, but has major potential to live up to his 3rd overall pick. I wouldn't say Odom has been drastically outperforming any of these guys so far in the playoffs, would u?

It doesn't matter. He outplayed them in the regular season...clearly. Award worthy lol.

You dissing these all-stars on your team & saying they aren't playing up to Kobe's standards is outrageously worse than me saying how Antwaan Jamison played like shit in the playoffs. Pau Gasol, despite playing below par, is already playing better than Jamison did in the playoffs last year lol.

huh? Jamison was actually good in the first round of last years playoffs, averaging over 20 points per game on 47% from the field....Gasol is hitting at a 42% clip and ain't even hit 20 points once in the playoffs yet. check the stats and quit makin shit up. whether u like it or not, the Lakers "amazing" supporting cast, which u say are good enough to make the playoffs and beat the Jordan-less Bulls (still LMAO@that one) have collectively sucked really bad so far in the playoffs...It's becoming quite obvious that Kobe has been doing what he's been doing with less than any other recent NBA champion (other than Detroit in '04), and that the Lakers need some adjusting to the roster in this offseason......Now, I'm hoping Gasol can man the fuck up, string together a few good games, and shut me up....but as of now, Kwame Brown would have been better suited for us than this version of Gasol......the guy is just a fucking pussy, straight up. and to think, i was convinced he would take it to Dirk.......i hope Kobe slaps the fuck out of him and wakes him up. Lamar Kardashian, too.
