i hate these performances... they basically play the song and he tries to rap louder than the song.

why can't these dudes get the insturmental to their own songs for performances  ???

just sounds awful.

Yeah and Crook is usually dope on the mic LIVE so its a shame when its done this way.

Rap sound terrible live anyway.DJ quik the only rapper that sound dope as fuck live

Rappers have been doing this for years now cuz they have no clue what a live performance is. Dude above me is right, quik is the last artist capable of doing a great live performance. Other rappers just play their songs, have a gang of niggas come on stage, and they just yell the lyrics to the song out.

Rakim is amazing live. Just went to his show in Denmark last week.

Most rappers are terrible live. The " hype man" syndrome that plagues hip hop performances ruins them. Never understood it
