man, that shit was disappointing.  quik only sat in with the band.  he didn't perform. i didn't record the beginning because i thought he would just be performing at the end.  jimmy asked quik what he was drinking on the back of bod album.  it's chardonnay btw.  and you can stream the whole epiosode over on nbc.com.  but here's a couple clips of quik sitting in with the roots:
