League shouldn't have made it, just lucky there is a stat called a "save".  He's not even a top ten reliever in the AL this year.

But it's not like he's the only one, Brain Wilson and a few others shouldn't be there either.

I feel like the AL is going to dominate this year.

I don't know, minus that meltdown he had in Baltimore he's been pretty damn good, Pineda definitely deserved it over him though.

I'm sure he has, but good really shouldn't get you an all-star selection, you have to be great.
Filtering "relievers", "AL" and "qualified only".  He's 11th in WAR, 42nd in ERA, 10th in WHIP, 11th in FIP, 47th in K/9.  So when they only pick 5 relievers, you have to be one of the best, and I don't see how he's up there at all.
It's really quite mind blowing how managers, coaches and gms still overvalue "saves" and "wins" when they are clearly two of the most worthless stats there are.

Yeah, pretty funny.

Asdrubal is batting 40 points higher, has twice as many RBI's & makes one sparkling play every game.

Doesn't deserve it either. Huge drop off from last year considering the fans voted him in and this year the coach didn't even pick him.

Yeah dude's dropped a few levels (then again he is a Mariner) but don't forget he's the only one to hit a inside-the-park homerun in a All Star game...

I voted for Coco Crisp over him though lol...

Jeter & A-Rod are sitting out this year.
