what's with your stupid ass threads like out of all these fighters who have only had one fight who's the best? No one's going to reply to shit like this as its a useless thing to discuss.

1 fight doesn't tell you anything about a fighter. Not to mention this is an event no one on this forum has seen. If this was so interesting it would be getting replies.

interesting to me and a fight can say alot about a fighter. now if none watches pride its no my problem. the reason these threads dont get replys are cuz there r like 5 active members.

1 fight cannot possibly show a fighter's strengths and weaknesses, especially when it is against unknown fighters. Any fighter can win a fight. The meaningful question is whether they can win fights against proven fighters from a variety of styles. Can they handle a great striker? Can they handle a great wrestler? A great submission artist? These are the questions that tell you the most about a fighter.

Level of competition also says a great deal. Kimbo Slice can beat up bums on the street, does that make him a great fighter? These weren't elite fighters by any means. A mediocre fighter can dominate a weakass fighter and look good, while a great fighter struggles against another great fighter. Comparing guys with nothing on their record is meaningless. Why don't you try comparing fighters from when mma had established stars whose strengths and weaknesses were known?

u can easily watch Kimbo win those fights and see no technical skill. watching Rickson & Sakuraba its pretty obvious they have skill. watching someone just beat a bum to a pulp doesnt say much. seeing hand speed, strategy, submission techniques, finnesse. all these thinks say something. Vernon White is a decent opponent. Goodridge beat Taktarov a former UFC Champion. Shoji tied with Renzo Gracie. Marco Ruas beat Goodridge who is a good accomplished UFC Vet. isnt like there has been no competititon what so ever. if this was cage rage or KOTC i wouldnt ask but Pride has real fights not one sided dumb matches. I think that you have alot of knowledge of MMA and dont wanna get on your bad side as with this forum being inactive for the moment (will get rolling again im sure its had dead spots before) there arent alot of big MMA fans.
