I've never been a "fan" of Game and i must admit that i wasn't impressed with Jay Rock when i've heard his first songs, but now i'm enjoing more Jay Rock's Follow Me Home more than any other Game album (i know it's not difficult because Game's discography is pretty average).
I got the impression that Jay Rock will replace the Game soon as the new face of the west.

By definition to be "the new face of the west" jay rock will have to be:  a) on a major label  b) actually selling some records while on that label.  Jay Rock will never accomplish either of these things.

Kendrick Lamar is a lyricist compared to most of the rappers from the west coast, he just need to not work with dre to be successful.

The irony being that you think Game only raps about the gang banging shit as well? Not true at all - he's a story teller and has an old school flow. He raps about many different topics and can easily jump on a song with any emcee at the game and would blend in with their style. The same cannot be said for Jay Rock.
