I like the piano touch. Sometimes basic is good. I'm not in to what he's saying but to be fair the song isn't that bad to me. Even Short digs his music. But if you aren't feeling it, that's cool. We all like different things.

yeah sure, I won't judge you for your opinion. I was just wondering why people dig it. I mean the beat itself is not complete ass but it doesn't kick me neither. Plus the fading gives it the rest imo. Shit, I used to be a Messy Marv fan some years back. I liked his music until 07 that's when he started to get really fucked up.

Messy Marv was pretty ill in the early to mid 2000's. His "Turf Politics", "Bandannas, Tattoos, and Tongue Rings" and one of his albums with Quinn were all pretty sick. Bandannas had some real bangers.

I always thought he was a bit reckless with some of the shit that he would say, even going as far on the intro of one of his albums to say that he's been beefing with "Shady Records" which we all knew was far from the truth. But every indication I see here shows that the dude has lost his mind.

I've heard from industry people over the years that not only does he not deliver when he gets paid in advance for guest verse spots, but he also wants rappers on his albums for free when he wants guest spots on his albums. That's just foul shit and it looks like it's biting him in the ass. I felt like he had real potential to get signed to a major at one point, even had a song with Ashanti and was supposedly in negotiations with Ruff Ryders and some other labels. But it looks like it just isn't gonna work for him. You just can't be from the bay, be only known on a regional level, and believe that you can go at Too $hort without any repercussions. What did he think was gonna happen?

And LMAO @ him acting as if he doesn't know who JT The Bigga Figga is. JT and Daz were on his "Turf Politicin" song back in '02.

It's not like I think it's a classic. lol .... but it's a cool little piano beat. I respect your opinion though.

He just didn't want to acknowledge JT, but he definitely made a mistake by saying "I don't know him." I was told afterwards that he wished he would've just said "no comment." lol

Doesn't have anything to do with that. Short, E-40 and possibly Mac Dre are to the Bay what some legends are to other areas. Too Short might not be relevant musically but he's still one of the big faces from the Bay and is a legend so him going at Short would give him a lil spark in his area. I remember Messy tried the same shit with Game years ago and it never caught on so he stopped.

you're just flat out wrong. Too Short ain't been relevant in 10 years? Are you forgetting "Blow The Whistle" and "Shake That Monkey?"

Both of those came out in 2005-2006 and both charted number 1.

Too $hort is one of those rappers that will always be relevant.
