Well to me westcoast sound wasnt just g funk it was also the bay area sound and i grew up with ice t an nwa, etc but i honestly thought aot of south sounded more west but now alot of west soundin south.
But having said that i remember most south rappers at one point being all fast rappers and dark style rappers i dont remember south always being crunk i mean ghetto boyz then all taht three six mafia type sound.
West you had g funk but also all that funky bay stuff. And was always dudes like souls of mischief etc.
Cant lie though i love when dpg do the old school sound and i miss the days of the 90's.
I love raskass ans shit though an del. And xzibit was dope before he did gangsta rap.
I like what i like i love Brotha lynch not g funk. etc.
too many drinks an too late cant think straight anyways.

Euros have no credibility to to say what westcoast music is when they dont live here and can't relate to the cali lifestyle. Yall know about The Cali lifestyle through music, videos and basically the internet. I hate how euros gotta through their two cents on what real westcoast rap is. go fuckin listen to some music from your region, french rap, UK rap. whatever! If your a true westcoast fan, then support all westcoast artist reguardless if they aint all that or what not. Quit comparing them to snoop, dre, 2pac or Qube. if you want westcoast rap to be in the forefront then get behind all weastcoast artist. only artist that get love here is if they affilated or get a co-sign from Dre or snoop. fuck that.

I respect you euros who have love for the westcoast music and are behind the movement. But fuck you euros hating on anything new and critiquing the shit out artist music cuz it don't sound like 90's westcoast rap.
fuck you haters always got something negative to say about new albums that drop and it dont compare to past albums. at least we getting some new music and thats exposure for the westcoast.
If you truly love the westcoast, then support it! everybody from the west.
