DUBCC - Tha Connection > Outbound Connection
Right now Eminem might be 2nd best producer...
Murrow:
I Think Em may have had tighter produced songs than Dre did.
I mean, songs like "Square Dance," "Till I Collapse" and "Soldier" are alll tight Em produced songs. Then he did another banger like "My Name" for X.
The songs Dre did on Truth were nothing special except for "Push Play." Same fo Em's album, "Business" was the only good Dre produced song. X's album as well was nothing special.
Then again he kind of made up for his weak year with "In Da Club."
So I think in 2002 the songs Em produced were tighter than the ones Dre did.

He's not the 2nd best producer, he has a looooooooooooong way to go before he can be considered even close to that, sure he's one of your personal fav's but in reality he's no No.2. I am a fan of his production but be real here. Oh, and I don't see where some of you feel he's just another 'Dre sound-alike', he sounds nothing like Dre imo, he's rockier for a start, Dre is more funk orientated usually, he does layer his work well though, maybe Dre has something to do with that.....
