California rapper Game will take advantage of a number of new emerging technologies with the release of a new E–book titled The Making Of Game's The R.E.D. Album.

In the book, Game reveals the process behind creating The R.E.D. Album and offers insight into the two year period It took to create the release.

"With my book The Making Of Game's The R.E.D. Album, I wanted to give my fans a behind-the-scenes look of how my new album came to be," Game said in a statement. "These are my stories in my own words. This book is the only place where you'll learn all the stories behind the music -- how I got the beats, what inspired my lyrics and how the album was put together."

Game reveals the struggle it took to have certain songs released, his thought process while making the album and intimate stories about the artists involved in the creative process, including for Pharrell Williams, Rick Ross, Dr. Dre and others.

Game's new e-book The Making Of Game's The R.E.D. Album will be available on all digital retailers including Amazon.com, Lulu.com, iTunes.com.

Nice! Any word on when it will be available?

My only objection is that I'm not sure how reliable Game is. Will he be telling the truth or just talking shit?

i understand that book sales are declining, but i don't think e books are taking over, unless i missed something

ur right about that. old ppl r still the predominat book-readers, n they sure as hell aint readin no "e-books"

I bought this today for my Kindle ....  only $4.99.... Hopefully it's a good read. So far at the introduction, he states that Dr. Dre only had 1 day to mix a track for him, so he had to choose between Drug Test and Dead People (which was his favorite song). He chose Drug Test because he's never had Dr. Dre featured on any of his albums as an artist. He also said that he'll release Dead People for the next album.

i doubt he'll release it on the next album. hopefully it will land on a street album

It's not that long of a book .... it's basically a song by song break down with the stories behind each one.

Here's some tidbits so far:

Regarding "The City" ........ Wasn't his original choice to be the first song. His first choice was "Infrared" but that song got leaked. Game sent the Cool & Dre "City" track to TDE for Kendrick to drop a verse. Kendrick sent his verse back and Game chopped it up. He made half of it to be the "hook" and then at the end of the song he let the entire verse drop as an acapella.

There was a big argument in the studio between Game and his camp. Some of them told him that he shouldn't let Kendrick get so much shine on his album, especially the first song. Game disagreed and said, "Dope is dope." And he left it as is.
