Jewell is back with two albums on the way… (Toronto, Canada) - Multi-platinum Death Row Records singer/songwriter Jewell is coming full circle with the label she helped establish as one of the most dominant and successful companies ever in the music industry. Born Jewell Caples, she sang the choruses to several classic Death Row records during the early-to-mid 90’s, including some of their biggest hits, and was known as "The First Lady of Death Row Records”.

Signed to Death Row Records as it’s first original artist from 1992-1996, Jewell more than held her own among the other inmates of Death Row by blending her smooth, talented vocal abilities with the G-funk-infused gangsta productions to Death Row albums like "The Chronic", “Doggystyle”, "Dogg Food", "All Eyes On Me", and "Murder Was The Case", where she also had a Billboard Hot 100 charting hit with "Woman to Woman”.

While helping to revolutionize the sound of Death Row, Jewell established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in urban music with appearances on projects by Dr. Dre, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, 2Pac, and O.F.T.B., among others. In addition to her show-stopping features with Death Row, her early work included appearances with N.W.A., D.O.C., and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on Ruthless Records, while her most recent post-Death Row collaborations have been with K-Ci & JoJo, Redman and others.

On October 25, 2011, Best Hand Entertainment & D Sound Syndicate (a division of WIDEawake Entertainment Group) will release Jewell's "My Blood, My Sweat, and My Tears”. Shortly after, on November 22, 2011, WIDEawake/Death Row Records will release the album "Jewell". The never-before-released tracks from the Death Row vault showcase the artist’s undeniable talent and edge while digging into her Gospel roots. Word, if they can get a Pac feature on there, it'd definitely be able to move some units.

Without a Pac feature, not sure how many people would actually buy this record.

Jewell deserves a Pac feature...she must have recorded over 20 songs with Pac, and she probably fucked him too.
