Candyman 187 is a name that for many will ring true but you might not be able to place where from instantly. Born in the 80s, Candyman was raised in L.A. and led a hot-tempered youth before reevaluating his life and refocusing his energy into becoming a revolutionary musician whose goal was to make an impact on anyone who would listen.

In his early years, Candyman 187 was mentored by the legendary Tupac Shakur and Yaki Kadafi of the Outlawz. A strong bond developed amongst the trio, who then went on to form the group The Havenotz.

Today Candyman 187 has seen and done it all and over recent years, with that team of artists, musicians and producers behind him The Havenotz he has set about making his mark taking L.A by storm with a 13 piece live band making and winning Album of the Year and Artist of the Year at the Los Angeles Music Awards.

Now Candyman 187 is tackling the industry on his own and has recently released a single and video for a record featuring Snoop Dogg and Ariano called "High Off The Fame." This radio friendly record and accompanying video is from his upcoming album "If Tomorrow Never Comes."

DubCNN, just as a note, it'd probably be wise to disassociate yourself with this artist. I've been told by numerous sources close to 2Pac over the years that this guy is a major fraud and was only about 12 years old when Pac died. He has changed his stories several times and claimed that he rode around with Pac in 94, but that would make him 10 years old at the time.

For awhile he was able to get it past people (Shock G, Ray Luv), but as far as I know none of the dudes fuck with him anymore.

But since 2004, I have been hearing from Outlaw members, Thug Life members, and other sources that his story is 100 percent fraudulent, which is why he probably doesn't want to discuss 2Pac in interviews anymore (it's only a matter of time before one of 2Pac's associates airs him out publicly).

Just thought y'all should know.

It should also be noted that I was close to the first people who Candyman started fucking with industry wise back in 04. His story changed from that "he met 2Pac a few times" to "he was 2Pac's little brother" essentially over night.

Needless to say, that record label stopped fucking with him as a result.

Is that right? I knew he was feeding Yasmynn all the bullshit about knowing Pac and Kadafi too, but I didn't know he burnt through her money.
