My Point Is That The Current Members Are Just What You Said...Proven Rejects!...Which Is What Brought Them Together To Form Slaughterhouse. Thats The Story Behind The Formation Of Slaughterhouse, Lock Wouldn't Fit Into That!...Even With Your So-called MTV Airplay & Regional Hits Which Don't Really Count For Nuthin!!

They got signed for being 4 emcees that tear the mic up.
True But Don't You Think The Bck Story Which I Jst Cleary Explained Had NOTHING To Do With That?? lol If What You Said Was the Case Why Wouldnt Have They Just Went Ahead And Added Charles Hamilton Like He Says They Were Supposed To?? Makes No Sense!!

edit: My Explanaton Is There...U Must Have Missed It!!

Charles Hamilton?! lol never heard that guy tear the mic up. And he hasn't been around half as long as Lock.

Where was your explanation? You said if he had been in the group they couldn't have signed to shady. I don't see why. It was their underground buzz and Royce hooking back up with Em that got them the deal.

My Explanation Was On How They Got Together....Based On The Fact That They've All Been On The Game & Rejected....You Can Basically Write A Book On It..Make A DVD Whatever You Choose Cause Thats The Thing They All Had In Common Which In My Opinion Had Alot To Do With Charles Hamilton Getting Ex'd Out. Thats A Unique Story In Itself!! 4 Dudes Who Been In The Game Longtime & Never Really Popped!! I'd Buy That DVD!! Thats A Great Story!...Not 4 Dudes Who "Tear The Mic Up!"...You Can't Just Throw Lock In There Like That!!

Lock could definitely hang with them rap-wise, but what Hoodlum said is very correct:

There's No Doubt In My Mind That Lock Couldn't Go Bar-4-War Wit Them Dudes!!

the best raw spitter along with crooked, but more intelligent.

I agree with this. At his best Lock would outshine Crooked on verses. The question is can he do it consistently. Crook almost never comes weak. I would have 1) Lock 2) Crooked I 3) Royce 4) Joell 5) Budden (as members of the group, not as artists)

How would you prove that Lock would outshine Crooked? I think its a matter of opinion right? I haven't heard enough of Lock for  me to put him above Crooked yet. I'm not even sure If I would put him above the rest.

Then you should listen to more Locksmith. I don't have to prove anything since I'm only hypothesizing, but I'm basing it on his recent material vs. Crooked I's recent material. I'm guessing Lock would bring straight fire. Crooked I brings fire too, but can't help throwing in the same old references to his gun and Pac.

I didn't say to PROVE IT. I asked, if would you be able? The reason why I ask is because there are a shit load of great Mc's in the game. Too many to count and It would really be impossible for me to rank them. I can give you an opinion but at the end of the day, it's only an opinion. I've heard a lot of Locksmith but not enough for me to rank him above, is what I meant. The man has skills no doubt but I can go on and on praising them both. I agree that Crooked spits that G shit a lot but I personally don't think that has anything to do with skill. Crooked can Rap about anything IMO. He can do it all, just chooses to rap about what he wants.

I'm not ranking them as artists, I'm ranking them as how good they would come as part of a group trading verses. imo.

Hmm well that's what I meant also dawg! In other words, I believe that they will ALL kill each other every now and then. Whoever has the best day will get it, ya dig? I can't say Crooked has anyone's number. But like you said Crooked RARELY comes weak. He can't win them all though. The whole Slaughterhouse can come hard on any given day. Would you agree?

No obviously I wouldn't rank them as equals. That's why I made this thread. I don't think anyone here would.

The thing about Locksmith is that he does a shit load of battle rapping. The guy is on the grind battling dudes, so at this point in time, you can say that he is more active than anyone from slaughterhouse. SH is on some other part of the game. They are working on albums n shit, just on a other state if mind. Locksmith is on beast mode right now, eating Mc's alive.

Haven't heard of him battling for a while. Pretty sure he's focusing on music right now.

Yeah you probably right, I think he had some battle's around a year ago. Still doing it way more than the Slaughterhouse camp. Those dudes retired from that, waaaaay back.

Have any of them even battled? I know Royce had done his thing, what about the rest? Pretty sure Crooked has never battled.

Also I think it says a lot that Royce lost to Mistah Fab but Locksmith owned him.

Yeah but you know Royce didn't bring his A game. I don't think Crooked I ever battled in public or main stage competition. But I'm sure he did his fair share in the streets. I really don't have the evidence but I would have to guess that they all did battle! Maybe with dudes around the block or their clicks ha!
