I'm glad people are feeling the tracks - but you're missing the point. Phil was leaking OG tracks that ended up on Tha Realest's album that originally featured Twin on them months before his album release, totally killing the anticipation factor from what to expect with these tracks. It wasn't to share music, it was to receive credibility and notoriety on music forums.

What you DON'T understand is sometimes artists don't own all of their music or have the rights to release music on their own. Labels fund the studio time, investors invest in a product, producers give beats that sometimes aren't paid for until a product is released on the market. These are just some of the factors as to why songs just can't be released at will like you think they can. It's different when it's a commercial artist leaking material - that material will get a particular producer noticed and thus helps the producer out in the long run. This is not the case with super underground artists like Twinz or Tha Realest who don't have a big buzz, but still command production that is similar to that of commercial artists. They don't have the luxury of leaking at will which is something you just have to accept. You can't name me too many unsigned artists who get the type of production Tha Realest gets on the regular.

Twinz never advertised selling their music on MySpace like that, it was a typical case of Phil hitting up the artist privately to buy some "exclusives," hence the price was so high for the music. If Fredwreck were to browse this forum and see that someone bought one of his songs that he didn't get paid for or get money off royalties for, there could be a problem - but of course you guys never think about this side of things.

It has nothing to do with hiding things - this is a BUSINESS.

Dude - we ain't talking about Tha Realest album. We talking about TERROR TWINZ. Point blank is - G TWIN was selling this material by himself on his official myspace page. There was a direct link to his paypal account - you send 80$, his giving you the material. If I'm buying material directly from the artist I got clean conscience. If I'm buying material directly from the artist himself, I don't give a fuck if he payed for the beat, for mixing/mastering etc.

That's not my problem - that's artist problem. I'm paying for the final product and I'm buying this shit str8 from the man himself. So the G Twin tracks ain't no type of "exclusive" ones. You can still buy them today - just holla @ Twin via his Myspace and he'll send you a message about it. You mentioned FredWreck - well, the "Blocked Locked Down" track was featured on their first album which was released 8 Years ago and it it still selling til this day via CDBaby, E-Bay etc. The second track is still featured on Twinz myspace so everybody can rip it if they want to - that's not TOP SECRET MATERIAL. They gave it to the public and that's it.

If I'm going to a record shop to purchase a record of the artist I like, I don't give a fuck if the producers or studio engineers were payed for their work - that's not my business. Someone released a CD in a legal form and it something's not right with the paperwork, that's not the fans fault. LOL
