I mean seriously: does anything else compare to this beat? I've been bumping The Book of David on the regular for the last 5 months now and I'm consistently impressed by this bead. I think its one of the best of Quik's career and by far the best beat made in this year. Who's with me?

I'm with you!!!!!! That is the BEST beat/track on that albume and clearly one of Quiks best. I love that song. I constantly rewind that ish. I stated this in TBOD discussion thread...my absolute favorite.

I'm glad to know somebody else recognizes the real shit. Quik made a classic here, we need to show our love for it and encourage him to make more songs like this in the future.

me and the homie are reading this thread...and were laughing cause...despite it being a great beat and dope track... were askin ourselves...how can it be beat of the year when it aint even beat of the album...theres at least 4 or 5 others better on the same album..
