« on: October 16, 2011, 12:49:12 PM »
My Restless booklet says produced by Nottz, but I've heard several people say it's by Dre and Nottz.

4. U KNOW (Featuring Dr. Dre)

Producer: Nottz for D.M.P./Teamsta Entertainment, LLC.
Keys: Scott Storch
Recorded at Record One
Recording Engineer: Lance Pierre
Assistant: Greg Burns

I don't know what to think...

anytime Dre is involved in a track, he most likely had his hand in producing the track...not necessarily the beat making process, but rather the overall signature sound/thump of the beat....the booklet says produced by Dre & Nottz. Nottz probably came up with the concept of the beat, and Dre probably brought it to life.

Judging by the sound of the beat, I wouldn't be surprised if Dre touched it a lil' bit ;)

Never knew Nottz had anything to do with this track, always assumed it was Dre and Storch. Dre must have had some input at I can't normally stand Nottz's beats.

If storch was on it would assume dre was involved

seems likely that nottz laid the basic loop, dre came in with fixing the drums, extra keys (storch) and mixing. regardless of what any booklet says, thats what the sound of it suggests.

Dre didn't mix the track either which is another reason I was confused.
