The one thing I'd like to hear LESS right now than Detox (based off the 'singles' we heard earlier in the year, which were shit) is a fucking Dr. Dre jazz album.

Absolute nonsense.

Why the fuck would you need Dre to make a jazz album? Let the man stick to what he's good at: simple mainstream jams. I doubt he would even be good at jazzy hip hop, let alone straight jazz. And if you want jazzy shit go listen to the starving artists who already do it and deserve your attention

yea, thats right
i shouldnt wish for a jazz-fusioned Dre-album, cuz  we have starving artists out there
*my head hurts*

Just admit you made a stupid post. Did radiotube PM you this genius idea? It's like wanting to hear Rick Ross make a soul album where he sings. I doubt you even fuck with real Jazz albums in the first place.

He never finished that rock album he wanted to do, Ghetto Metal.

He has not even finished the techno-house-hip-hop hybrid album he's working on.

 :grumpy:

lil nigga, this thread is some real shit.

dont take it on me, cuz ur still associatin Andre Young wit a damn steeler-cap and chronic-smoke. old geezer damn near 50 years, n id rather c him head for this route n boss up on his grownman-shit

jazz can be blended wit anythin musicaly (except rock n techno), n Dre's slumpy drums would suit saxophones and mellow/harmonizing instruments well.
check the songs wit Burt Bacharach, shit works - n i would def take a seat n spend  35 or 40 minutes listenin to a shorter session wit some dirty Dre-drums wit supported play by a jazz musician n his team
dont mistake it for some  "jazz-hiphop" shit, wit beats n stacked samples. im talkin about a session - a performance

*edit*
and this thread was "radiotube"-approved. take that, lol  :nahnah2:

lmao at wanting Dre for a live performance. You need a drummer for that, not a rap producer on a drum machine. Just admit its a stupid idea.

Bigg Spice - ur a good kid n all, but dont reach retardation-status now
a session/performance in the studio,
do u really think that every music-act is puzzlin songs together using protools n finished fruityloops-beats?

 shit works,
hook up a lead wit the mpc n let the vocalists n instruments play around it n build on it (and what comes out of it, comes out of it n is recorded//right on the spot)
- a session (then mix it)

and thanks for linkin a yt-link to a song from 1991, further proves u point right? "we have starvin artists out there, let them do it/they deserve ur attention"

"I doubt you even fuck with real Jazz albums in the first place."

n i bet u didnt know i use green t-shirts every once in a while?

Bro just admit that Dre having anything to do with a Jazz album sounds stupid as fuck. Everyone else sure has. Maybe you and radiotube should collab on a potentional track listing and credits. Your two genius minds should be out there making classics together.

smh, ur a clueless/hopeless naysayer,
n arguing wit u is like sayin that Run DMC cant do rock-infused rap music

id check out a jazz-session wit unorthodox Dre-drums, and u'd do it too

You mean you want a Dre project where he samples a Jazz album?

Can't picture Dre moving from the snare, drum, snare, drum style he has now to a fully dynamic Jazz album.

The thread needs to be titled 'Dr Dre needs to release something'. No point in talking about ideas like this if he can't even get just one album out in 10 years.
