Master P wins, hands down, for the best hip-hop album title of the year, "TMZ Too Many Zeros."

The hip-hop mogul explained how he came up with the name in a statement released to Yahoo! Music. "I named this new record 'TMZ Too Many Zeros' because it's true when they say, 'more money … more problems,'" he said. "I'm on my Donald Trump swag. I could lose it all and get it back in 72 days. Good or bad, when the media is on you that means you are still relevant."

Master P said he's not trying to re-launch his rap career, per say, but he's using this EP mixtape with bonus songs to introduce artists that he and his son Romeo discovered. The No Limit Forever Records lineup includes Bengie B, Miss Chee, T-Bo, Black Don, T.E.C., Catalina Toma, Playa, Eastwood, Co-Ruff, Afficial, Pallo Da Jiint & more.
Master P promises a real, street controversial album!

The album cover takes me back to the '90s when No Limit Records released a new compilation every two weeks, all with the diamond encrusted Pen and Pixel graphic album covers. "TMZ Too Many Zeros" is due out on November 16.

HERE IS THE BRAND NEW SONG FROM P, WIT THE SAME TITLE. P ON HIS ICE CREAM MAN SHIT AGAIN!!

Definitely looking forward to this, not sure why P gets so hated on.  He still has ties to the West and in the early No Limit days they made some pretty damn good bay-area albums, not to mention all the West Coast Bad Boyz albums he put out and he's always had at least a cat or two out West on all his albums.  Dude should get a little more attention than he does, even though he made it big with his own sound down south, always been down with the West too.  I know No Limit's been dropping mixtapes lately, but this one is by far the only visible one that's come out and if nothing else, once it's plastered on the internet, everyone hating on it will just bring attention to it anyway.  Heck, I remember '98 when dude was selling 4 million copies and he was hated on by twice as many people buying the albums ha ha.  Always seemed a little unwarranted.

just finally tried to listen. i just couldn't butcher my ear drums like that. really ? this is the new wave ? LMFAO for real. hey wasn't p talking about he wasn't using profanity in his lyrics any more after oprah and others made a big ol stank about derogatory lyrics in 07? p is a sellout and it seems he will do anything for a dollar. and btw this song is uber garbage. and i do mean this wit no disrespect

  • I love YaBB 1G - SP1!
Not as bad as I thought it would be, but it still ain't all that.

I don't think Master P can blow at this point in his career, being in his 40's and the fact that he's dropping literally the exact same kinda music he did in the late 90's/early 2000's.

That doesn't mean No Limit can't do anything - he should try blowing up one of the artists he has signed.

Oh and BTW, I've gone back and listened to some old Silkk The Shocker - dude has to be hands down one of the worst rappers ever! Why was dude ever going platinum?

You nailed it ha ha.  P is making the same music he was making in the late 90's/early 2000's, which is why I'm actually looking forward to it.  With P I have always felt like it's a love or hate thing, but obviously if you liked his shit in the late 90's, you can't sit around and pretend that the new shit sucks.  But this is also the death of P too.  I got all his records, but dude just doesn't seem willing to branch out and try anything new... but in a day and age where most new shit sucks, I'll take a new twist on P throwbacks any day of the week.  For people that were previously fans, they'll dig it.

Silkk was hit or miss and the interesting thing is that he used to be one of my favorites back in 95/96.  He started getting to a point at times where nobody understood what the hell he was saying because he was rapping a million miles an hour with a stutter.

Which brings me to your other point... I think P needs to come with a record of his own, but I don't think he should be the face of No Limit.  And I don't think it should be Romeo either.  P needs to start pushing new talent.  If someone new and unknown gets hot, they can bring the whole label up.  It's all maybe a moot point, music doesn't sell anymore anyway.  This is a business now where you need new fans so it doesn't really matter if people aren't checking for him because if they're not, they're likely the same people that weren't checking for him when he dropped his last album over 6 years ago.

Yeah, saw the video earlier.  Huge No Limit fan as you can tell by the username, but being objective I thought the song and video both sucked.  Cheap and generic.  Not knocking P because I know this is just a mixtape track, but when it comes time to release the official videos for official albums, they gotta be better.  TMZ was a dope track though.  Only bright spot was Miss Chee, lady can go off.  Reminiscent of a time when ladies like Mia X and Lady of Rage were doing it.

this music is terrible. p's shit back in the day was better. he had real producers that did him justice and his flow though mediocre was meaningful.
