Floyd's a master in the ring, but he's not a debater.  I haven't heard the radio BS, because I imagine the radio dude brings up BS claims and all Floyd says is "you dont know shit, faggot" or something like that huh?

The thing is, as a casual boxing fan, I was ready to root for Mayweather when the talk of he and Pacquiao first started because I like watching the guy fight. But since then, disregarding his "bad guy" marketing scheme, he comes off as a guy that would rather play it safe and stay undefeated than take on challenging fights that would put his undefeated record in danger. To an extent, he almost reminds me of Ichiro who seems like he'd rather get 200 hits a year for his stats by slapping singles around when everyone knows he has the ability to drive the ball and be a much bigger contributor (had to throw in a baseball reference  ). As I said, I'm not a die hard boxing fan, and if he takes on the fight i'll eat my words, that's just how it looks to me.

^It's been obvious for a while he's been dodging Pacq, Mayweather was just riding that steroids thing. But Floyd was just getting facts thrown in his face by this guy & his replies were just like "shut the fuck up & stop riding my dick". It was such a bad look. Then he played the race card! Basically said, if you're not Black, no wonder you don't root for me.

If Mayweather had just one loss, we'd see him Manny, but he just doesn't want look like a dick & finish his career undefeated.

Mayweather is not ducking Pac at all.  It's mainly on Bob Arum who has manipulated the media to blame it all on Mayweather.  The history of the negotiations are right there.  Mayweather agrees on the ring size, 50/50 split(even though he can successful argue that he's the bigger draw based on all the recent PPV numbers and could have commanded a 60/40 split), size of gloves, and a fine on being.  Team Pacquiao never agreed to the random blood and urine testing.  They wanted cut off dates. And Mayweather at one point even offered a 14 day cut off date.  Bob Arum and Pacquiao rejected that offer.  Then, Mayweather said alright he isn't willing to compromise, from now on all his fights will have no cut off dates.  Pacquiao first wanted 30 day cut off, then 24, Mayweather offers 14 and they didn't accept it.  This is all documented.

Bob Arum is just doing to Pacquiao what he wanted to do with Mayweather when he used to be in Top Rank.  Mayweather paid Bob Arum 750k in order to get out of his contract with Arum back in 2006.  Why?  Because Mayweather wanted to get a fight with Oscar De La Hoya at the time.  Bob Arum said that there wasn't any money in that fight and that it wasn't worth him doing.  Bob Arum wanted Floyd to fight Margarito and then Cotto, sounds familiar right? Now, what sane boxer, given the choice, would choose Margarito for 8 mill over De La Hoya at 34 natural Super Middleweight  who had just gotten an impressive TKO victory over Mayorga? Nobody. The thing is that it's rare when Top Rank shares promotion on a fight.  Bob Arum just wanted to have Mayweather as his cash cow at the time and mainly just fight in-house until there were no more options left.  Hmm, sounds exactly like what's happening with Pacquiao and Top Rank right now.

He's tried before, but all the other people say "then why you ducked so and so?" and like I said he's just horrible at handling himself in interviews. Especially, when it's already a hostile environment. The media loves to give Mayweather the hard questions about the fights and he's always the one on the defensive.  The media has Pacquiao in front of them and they ask, "Why is Mayweather afraid to fight you?"  then they have Mayweather in front of them and they ask, "Why are you scared to fight Pacquiao?"  The media and most of the fans have made up their mind already and just don't care for actual facts.
