Not really sure at this point.  It all depends on what Arum is saying the week after the Pac vs JMM fight.

Because he was asked questions & he ducked them harder than he allegedly ducked Pacquiao. He straight up said, "Why won't you fight Manny?" & May replied, "What do you do for a living, you dickrider?".

He even said he doesn't have a problem with Floyd, he picks Floyd to win fights, just doesn't get why he won't give us all the fight he want. Then Floyd started crossing the line, so he pissed off the radio host. It's human nature. You live on another planet though have it in your head where Mayweather is boys with 50 & 50 is boys with Eminem, making you and Floyd borderline related due to your obsessive man crush on Marshall.

Mayweather is boys with 50, he even said it was 50 who told him to call.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it was all a publicity stunt between Mayweather and Shade45.  And 50 and Eminem are boys unless you ofcourse have inside information that nobody else knows about, which you usually do know everything, and I forgot about that factor of you being perfect and knowing everything.

And as for me being a fan of Eminem, I simply said he was the greatest rapper in the world back in 99' and I was only proved right again and again with each passing year.  That wasn't being obsessive, that's called being right, and being ahead of the curve.   You probably didn't start giving Em respect until after "Forgot About Dre" blew up or even several months after that.   And actually the only Em cd I bump since 8 Mile is a few tracks off Bad Meetz Evil.  But from SlimShadyLP to 8 Mile he was the best that ever did it (except Pac).

If Pacquiao dismantles Marquez, Arum might think he's "ready" to fight Mayweather. If the fight is as close as the 2 previous encounters (highly doubtful), Arum probably says to himself "better be safe than sorry". Now, the problem about this is: If Pacquiao completely destroys Marquez, Mayweather will be even more scared. Pacquiao is a terrible match-up for Mayweather. Easily his best opponent ever, plus a southpaw. That nigga De La Hoya wasn't shit. Most overrated boxer since Ali.

Pacquiao will be his strongest opponent ever, but not the best. Pac is a one-dimensional fighter that many skilled and athletic boxers can see where his punches are coming from and can read his movements.  People claimed he has improved greatly from his 2nd fight with Marquez, but that's simply not the case.  Pac hasn't faced anybody since Marquez that can move back and box.  Mayweather not only can move back and box, he can body him inside.  So many options for Mayweather.  If the fight happens, Mayweather wins by TKO in under 8 rounds.

^Mayweather might be better than Pacquiao, but he is not used to having tough fights. He's not used to have his back against the wall, to struggle, to be frustrated. He never had to show he had heart during a fight. He always was the flat out better boxer. Pacquiao on the other hand had very tough fights. So in conclusion, when shit hits the fan, Pacquiao will be used to it and Floyd will be new to the situation at hand. Kinda like fucking a pornstar on tape when you're a virgin. To some people that can be too much. Just the question if Mayweather has the mental abilities to do so or not. From what I've seen so far, he seems mentally weak. So far he only won based on extreme talent superiority. Probably won't be enough against Pac.

Mayweather has showny PLENTY of heart and has one hell of a chin.  He's shown this in many fights.  That recent bout with Mosley where Mayweather showed how he can take a punch, during round 2.  Not only did he take a punch and was on the verge of being knocked out he had the presence of mind of being extra defensive during.

Another example is Jose Luis Castillo vs Mayweather I, where Mayweather won with a broken hand (although this is the only fight where people say he actually lost).  This dude broke his hand and messed  up his shoulder and still kept on going.

Sure he hasn't been in wars, but he has shown heart.  It's gonna be much easier for Mayweather to frustrate Pac, then it is for Pac to frustrate Mayweather.

He lost that fight against Castillo.

I can say it was really close.  I've seen it a couple of times.  But that does show a lot of heart to continue the fight with a messed up shoulder and a broken hand.  Other boxers would try to find the easy way out.

Bob Arum on not really wanting Pac to fight Mayweather

"One of the reasons I never really was so keen on a Mayweather fight which I now truly believe is an easy fight for Pacquiao is because how Manny is going to be tainted by some of the vile things that Mayweather comes out with. Even though he'll be the good guy, God knows what Mayweather is capable of saying. It's one thing to talk about how much better a fighter he is and Manny can't do this or that, but Mayweather, who has no sensibility in this, is capable of insulting the country. The ignorance is so appalling."
