A message for Snoop Dogg (I hope he reads) about his next album

I want u to put tha K in the FunK.  I'm so tired of being robbed of the complete Snoop Dogg experience with each and every album since "Tha Last Meal".


For some reason why, and i never got this but Snoop ALWAYS leaves the sine/whistle outta his beats.  "Y'all Gonna Miss Me" is the LAST and ONLY ONE OF THE FEW REAL G Funk.  Snoop didn't have the formula all of tha way right and he still doesn't which is why he catches the mass confusion/mass conflicts with his audiences (notice the plural).  "Wonder What It Do" is a horrible excuse for G Funk.


I guess since I have all of the answers I should be on TV and all that shit but I'm not and I still get it.  Neo-Soul is for the most part G Funk but it's never used for that.  The things wrong with songs like "Traffic" by Mac Lucci is that they're just bare beats and they have the ability/access to do so much more than that.  Like imagine if "Fresh Like Me" was recorded in a mass studio (like "Detox" was) and everything was recorded using real instruments and real emotion.  


And for all u people talking about G Funk being dead, no it's not and it never has been.  It just got separated from it's family.  1 part of it went to RnB music and the other part of it stayed in Rap music.  It's not like I'm advocating for Snoop to start acting like he's a rookie in tha Rap game again tryna take scraps from niggaz but homie get your shit together and get all of your manz and 'nem on tha same page too.  


Y'all ain't goin nowhere but y'all are fadin'.  If it's time to go then u niggaz had a good run but while u niggaz r makin records make some GOOD SHIT ! ! ! ! ! !

but all that's irrelevant now.  i'd rather hear Snoop get some better samples and producers and incorporate some sines/whistles in his music over rarely used/never used before old skool records.   Like if you're going to make songs for the ladies at least make REAL songs instead of INTENTIONALLY making microwave music like "Gangsta Luv".  That whole song and beat and everything was horrible.

yeah i know right lol.  niggaz will do anything to stay around except keep it 100. 



but do u see what i'm sayin with tha beat Big KRIT made for Luda (shit just came out tha other day).  THAT'S G FUNK in it's right element.  G Funk ain't just George Clinton samples and songs that sound like "Regulate". 


G Funk comes out all the time but for some reason Snoop and All of them (Dre included for sure) stay away from that.  They do everything except THAT ONE thing and that's add that whistle and get better/non-cliche' samples (or make it from scratch).  The end of "What U Smokin' On" should've made me go "man, this is a Dogg Pound type of beat" but instead I'm thankin' Big Krit for blessing my ears instead!

snoop needs to drop cohesively great albums and stop wildin out. the only one who can give him some funky shit these days in battlecat and jake one who had the best beats on the album besides fred wreck,khalil, that my own way beat was nice too. he needs to reconnect wit his old fan base 93-2001 and stop bullshittin. no one is gonna cop a snoop cd when he work wit people his fans don't indentify  with.

Yeah it would be nice if I heard some new Snoop shit that was thoro from front 2 back.  I don't even think he needs Cat and them foreal foreal becuz there's millions of other niggaz in tha game who got music that's just as good or better.


No matter what people wanna say about Snoop he's always kept his shit In-House (except for "Da Game" album) so he's never been 1 to fuck around on anybody's shit that wasn't on The Squad (DPG/Neptunes).  He needs better music on his songs, all of his beats suck nowadays.  There's really like no real replay value for new Snooper music (i dusted off "Tha Doggumentary" and "I Wanna Rock" becuz becuz).


I listen to some of these niggaz who've been in tha game just as long as Snoop that haven't had this much of a problem staying consistent thruout their career.  I'm not saying them niggaz ain't never dropped no serious bullshit but this nigga Snoop just be doin' random shit just to be doin' random shit.  Like WHAT is Snoop Dogg making Pop Songs FOR, is there a point other than the ignorance of a muthafucka believing that if u release something with the words "ass", "shake", "niggaz", and "drink" it'll automatically do well.  


At the end of the day if the nigga just picks good beats and does him I'll listen but I'm not tryna hear a production re-hash of "Paid Da Co$$ To Be Da Bo$$" and "Tha Doggumentary", i'm bout seriously tired of all those Bootsy Collins remakes lol... that shit is super stale and the nigga just needs to let Bootsy and George be Bootsy and George.  I get tha agenda but idk, all this shit is starting to get dumb now.


with all of that said Snoop still had some juice on that "I Wanna Rock" mixtape.  But i can't lie tho, if that's what a Snoop album ended up I'd still be mad.  Like son, stop making songs for EVERYBODY, you're just not that type of artist if 10 years later after trying all of this other shit you're still performing "Doggystyle" like it came out yesterday and niggaz like Juicy J are performing all NEW shit with everybody singin to it even tho they (Hypnotized Minds/Prophet Entertainment) have hits and jams for days.

seems like every 5 yrs or so, he brings new musical talaent on board. its a recipe that works, n he needs it in order to evolve n progress wit his artistic integrity
