Yeah he could go back to the music which pleased his fanbase since the average consumer doesn't check anymore for Snoop the "pop" version for 5+ years ...

His last 2 albums sold horribly even for today's standards and Ego Trippin barely went gold ( not even sure it was certified)

lol, and doggumentary is sittin at 200,000 or some bullshit like that...u know u need 2 stop the faggot pop hits when mac miller is outselling ur total album sales in just the opening week.

I doubt he's sold that much. He was at 87k a month after it came out.

sources say it was up to 200k in september....u tryna say he sold less than that? LOL

Says who?

some1 edited it out...yesterday, wikipedia said:

In its second week, it dropped to number thirty five on the Billboard 200. As of September 20, 2011, Doggumentary has sold around 200,000 copies in the US

blue carpet and doggumentary were solid albums imo.  even ego trippin cut down to 13-15 tracks would be solid.

nah eggo drippin was awful. him writing his own lyrics cutting teddy riley, quik, and the pop country shit off the album and just kept it west coast and gave us a blue carpet treatment 2.

Definitely the last Snoop album I loved; he always has a few joints on each album, but his last two are his worst two by far.

Hen and Budd is one of his best joints ever

Only thing about the Last Meal is Kokane was on it too much; he killed it, but too much of a good thing

Last Meal was pretty solid but there were some great tracks on "Doggumentary" in my opinion.

Ego trippin' had it songs for sur........but as the thread is saying last meal is his last album that i respect, doggumentary had one or two songs in it that was good....Also like blue carpet treatment tho its not in a division with tha last meal, Snoop fell off he'll never get another repected album like doggfather or doggystyle

i remember a load of people moaning on here because kokane was all over the album .

To me kokane is one of the main reasons the album is so good.

good thread... yeah my brother CeyCey is right, it is the last great Snoop album.   And the replies are correct too... Kokane really helped bring this album to life!  Contributions by the Eastsidaz and Dre and Meach on production really made this album a certiified banger.
