Probably because Nipsey is trying to do something a little different while all Game is doing is rehashing shit that was already done 20 years ago, name dropping and jacking other people's flows.

They both have the same level of talent and make the same type of music. Except Nipsey doesn't make songs with the rappers/singers you hate.

Its always been funny to me when people diss Game to credit Nipsey.

1. Why do we have to pick 1 of the 2? I promise you theres no rule that we says we can only like 1 West Coast artist at a time. Plus those 2 are dope together, remember that HaHaHa track?

2. Nipsey is the most typical gangsta rapper ive ever heard. Nothing about him is different from the shit we heard in 94, yet people really claim hes better than Game? Lol. If anything hes a less lyrical crip version of Game

They don't hear you though. Even as an outsider it's pretty obvious that has been one of the things that has held the west coast back and i'm pretty sure it started once Pac either joined Death Row or got killed.

I dunno some of the tracks on TMC were really dope IMO.  "Who Detached Us" is not your typical  90s gangster song, I was impressed when I heard this.  Also, songs like "Run a Lap", "Forever on some Fly Shit", "The Mansion" and even the Outro are songs I was really feelin.

DOes that make sense?

I banged out The Game's first 3 albums.  Still do.  His last album was overhyped and just garbage.  To much Lil Wayne, and shit.  His mixtapes prior to the album had 15 tracks that would have been a better release.

Lil Wayne did two hooks on the album and those two of the better songs in that album. But lax and red were complete trash save for a handful of songs.

And nipsey is generic and boring

LMAO @ "Probably because Nipsey is trying to do something a little different while all Game is doing is rehashing shit that was already done 20 years ago" - this couldn't be more off from the truth. If anything, Nipsey is essentially a clone from the 90's while Game is the only Westcoast rapper I've seen in recent memory that has a different kind of swag than your traditional West gangsta rapper, but can still hit you with the type of shit we loved in the 90's.

He's more lyrical than Nipsey, has better concepts, beat selections, and can get anyone he wants essentially on his projects. Nipsey's biggest guest on his mixtape was YG. There's a reason why any big rapper from any region will record with Game and sound good together - I can't say the same about Nipsey.

Can anyone picture Nipsey over DJ Premier? Or on a track with Jadakiss? Beanie Sigel? Having TI, Nas, and Lil Wayne on your mixtape?

Terrible comparison. I love Nipsey, but he's not on Game's level and I think even Nipsey himself will tell you that.

Only reason i made this topic os cuz yes Game is more lyrical and a better rapper than nip but to me Nip is the more Intligent and smarter rapper..
What i Respect about Nipsey is that he don't brag about his street life but in reality he makes people aware of what the la street life is about and ways to overcome and be more productive in yo life.. On the other hand Game is talken about shit in the red album that he did on the Documentary. He has no growth as a person or artist.. But if u listen to NIpsey on bullets series( all 3) to the Marathon ( both) you can hear the growth as a rapper and a person.. NIpsey ain't bangin 60s in his last mixtape like he was in vol 1 .. HE GREW ... i can't say the same about game.. Game still wanna be a blood still wanna be extrad out only this time what made red album different he talked aboutHIS POPS  beating his moms more often and trynna tell people how fukked up his child hood was and we already knew that.. trynna open up his personal life but i don't  hear game rapping about change and how to better yoself as a MAN

Never been much of a Nipsey fan. Game used to be one of my favorites but RED was ass.

game and nippsey arent on the same level.

"told me that i'd be a king so RIP to coretta/if u dont understand that then refer to my letter/while i sprinkle niggas with platinum from my last album/got the check so i signed on the x like malcolm"

thought this whole verse was just ill from game

"Go Dwight Howard, now watch them hoes run
Soon as the Game over, they back stripping for ones
Had your bitch all in my crib, stripping for fun
Getting head, thinking ’bout cars when I strip ‘em for fun
Walk in my closet, throw on my J’s, pick up my gun
Spin the block with some some shit that spit quicker than Pun
I respect two East Coast niggas, Biggie was one
If he was living, he’d say that no one is sicker then son, uh
Young gun, bar none, the tightest where I’m from
Roll some much kush, got the leaves sticking to my thumb
As I break it down , bring that six tray around
Banging Nas album, yeah, you can hate me now
Treat beef like haircuts, gotta fade it down
Ran out bars, guess I name-drop Slim and Baby
How can niggas hate on me? ‘cuz I get Cash Money
Six bricks in the Aston Martin, that’s fast money"
