To be fair, not many sports the world over have salary caps like NFL or NBA do, Baseball is doing no different to any other sport. In every sport there will always be bigger teams who offer bigger money. It doesn't make it uncompetitive.

In today's economy, there is no reason a team shouldn't be spending AT LEAST 60-65 million & the Royals spend 30 million dollars less & then you have the nerve to complain about salary caps.

Baseball doesn't need a salary cap.  It already has the most parity out of the four major sports in NA.
And f there was a cap in place the Yanks, Sox, etc. would just pump that extra money into scouting and other aspects of the organization and still be great teams.
