lol it's the rap game, just cause a long time collaborator has beef with another rapper doesn't mean that you can't be friends with the rappers... it happens all the time. Too $hort and Shorty B were featured on Life After Death and they were 2pac's homies in the first place, same for Bone Thugs, there are millions of examples.

was surprise by such a move. I guess Mess wants to benefit from the nationwide appeal that E-40 has. cause Mess might be thriving independently but he never really gained nationwide fame, he's only popular in the West & Midwest. so maybe he thought signing with E-40 would be an intelligent move. I would be curious to hear Mess over Sick Wid It type of beats... Mess's been known throughout his career for rapping over conventional, musical beats whereas Sick Wid It and 40 are known for innovative and fast paced productions.

I liked Messy for several reasons. He has a dope voice and good presence. He used to have a very good flow (his performance on Keep It on the DL is flawless for me) and he picked VERY good beats even throughout the mid-00's when most bay artists had shitty production on their albums.

Nowadays his voice is still alright, but his flow dipped. I still find his music alright though. His last mixtape "Kokaine Ballads frum my 550" is alright. I understand that people don't like it, I even read someone on siccness calling it "Quiet Storm type of raps" LMAO but I like Quiet Storm music so I liked the mixtape lol.
