Yeah I know it's been 10 years that the same thread come over and over again. I thought that 2011 would be the year he would drop his solo album since he released a street album on new years eve, but then nothing. The street album was quite buzzing, then the guy went totally MIA. His twitter is inactive and he's not doing much featuring either. I know that in between his cousin passed away and he had some issue with the law but still.

Anybody got info on his situation ? Dubcnn can't you find out where the fuck is he

@Hannibal: Yeah I saw that vid before. Grinding.. Damn 15 years + in the music game colaborating with almost every hip hop heavyweight Ice Cube, Snoop, 50 Cent, Westside Connetcion, Quik etc but still doing rookie stuff.. I really don't understand why he still hasn't put out a solo album.. He should follow Kokane's model, releasing 1 album per year independant and keep doing hooks.
And I don't understand why DPG doesn't fuck more with him. He would have been perfect on Snoop and Wiz album.

@Nik: That song is dope, love the atmosphere, but it's not his most recent work. Very quiet lately.

There's something about a few "big" long beach artists... it seems like they're doing everything to remain low key and local... The Twinz had a major contract in the 90's and after that went downhill... according to Daz they were lazy as fuck. now all they do is pop up here and there in snoop's videos or songs. Half Dead dropped 2 albums within 3 years and after that sporadically appeared on projects where he was solely doing hooks (when he was not busy busting a nut after fucking a broad for one minute with Jake Steed), Soopafly could have been way bigger but preferred his nice comfy lifestyle i guess. Butch Cassidy had a nice buzz in the early 00's and let it sink. not to mention Goldie Loc...

^lol it ain't as easy to blow up as u makin it seem. Half dead stopped dropping albums cuz his first couple went wood. Muthafuckaz like goldie loc would be lucky to go wood if they dropped an album in their current state. It's all about promotion and some of them long beach cats never got the right push.

As fans we just need to stay on the lookout for their music and support when it comes out . Im pretty sure they still got a solid fanbase but truth is they will release somethin
when their label feel the moment is right ... indeed people are waitin way too long but time will come im optimist bout that .
