first verse was enough to say no thanks. damn, mess used to be one of my fav rappers, but the way he's rapping nowadays sounds like he's struggling with every word. the beat, indeed, is nice, like that old bay area mob sound like in between 1998-2007, that's nice. But unfortunately, Messy Marv, or better yet "The Boyboy Young Mess" is not an artist I can listen to.

not tight at all. no throwback sound either. it's alright at best. the beat is decent, but very commonplace, it only consists of like 3 low piano keys and simplistic doesn't mean bad but in this case it's really nothing special.

the hook is alright but i'm not feeling it (sounds too modern rnb to me) and Messy's raps are not on point at all... he only has 2 verses and his flow is very weak. that being said it's still bumpable but on very small doses...

the video is horrible lol. the concept fits the actual theme of the song but it's boring as fuck.

i was expecting a lot more coming from messy especially since the kokaine ballads mixtape had decent songs and a real throwback sound so i was disappointed by this song.

beat is nice , sound like an early 2000's  production when the bay was on top  with mac dre, E40, lil bruce, yuk, mac shawn, dubee ...
