I guess it could be him, they spell their names the same way. It's just strange that he says he co-produced like half the album and we don't know who he is.

This was a good read though. It gave good insight as to why that album was so dope. That's crazy how young Techniec was. Guess that's why his Hoo Bangin' album was called 18 & Over.

I was thinking the same thing... not just for him to be rapping like that, but to be rolling with Death Row/Doggystyle on that level as a teenager is noteworthy.  That must've been a big deal to him to have been on a track with Daz, Kurupt and Pac on NY'87 as a 15/16 year-old.

I don't know if that one counts though, since Pac wasn't originally on Out the Moon, but it's possible that the LBC Crew was still around the studio when his verse was added.  I remember Tray Deee had talked about having been in the studio with Pac, and since we don't know of any other collabos between them, I suppose Out the Moon would've been the most likely session that he was talking about.

I remember readin' that this Young Buc didn't actually produce shit on the album and that's the reason why he was never heard from again or somethin' like that. I think it was an interview with Big C-Style.

yea techniec said that in 96 they decided to put pac on out the moon, and they were chillin in the in the studio, pac walked in, dropped three verses, said "pick one", and left. that was from a really recent techniec interview if i remember right.

That's interesting, I hadn't heard about that.  It's believable though, but I think that he may have recorded the same verse twice.  I say that because if you look at Pac's lyrics, there's not a single cuss word, almost like it was intended to be clean, possibly because he recorded a dirty version as well, with the clean version to be used for a possible radio version in the event that it became a single.  And remember, on the original leaks of the LBC Crew album, there's a version of Out the Moon/My Heat Goes Boom where all of the other rappers rap clean lyrics that are different from what's on the (dirty) retail version.  Look at the lyrics:

The italicized parts are words where I feel Pac would've said something else, like "nigga" instead of playa/busta/brotha/figga, or "fuck" instead of touch/buck.  And seeing how Pac doubled and sometimes tripled his vocals, if you listen to when he says "busta" in the line "Fat trick's got a big mouth, busta, better check it," it sounds like there's a different word being said in the background, probably "nigga," from another layer that didn't get changed or something.  It's just a guess.

i would like to see that techniec interview, i always thought that out the moon was the first official 2Pac retail remix death row ever made.

wanted dead or alive may be a remix, we don't know for sure yet, well most of us 

1997, we saw made niggaz, starin and lost souls all released intact, and maybe out the moon and wanted dead or alive as well.  Amaru def remixed alot of rusd songs in 1997, but dr had nothing to do with those. 

So maybe since DR didnt have anything to do with Still i rise, and the two songs on TGFR  were practically oG, UTEOT may be the first of death row putting 2pac vocals over beats he never heard.

DR kept it real , it seems they really tried to keep pacs songs pretty original sounding.

this means Amaru was the real ones wanting to remix the shit....
