1st thing ive bought in 2012 as far new releases, so i guess its the best of 2012 for me by default.

id give 6/10 rating after a couple listens. some sings nice, some BAD, and alot of average.

I see your point a lil bit because I used to scratch my head and ask the same thing. Until I started to listen to his catalogue and I think he was around album 10 when I started to take notice lol. He is a perfect example of how you say something more so then what you are saying. Nah Short ain't gonna hit you with hip hop quotables and punchlines every other verse but although he does not ad lib he at the very least influenced artists to do more of it (a la let me put some cuss words at the end of this line for more umph) his storytelling is very underrated and of course the bitch line is classic but his and 40's indie grind in Nor Cal is legendary.

He is like one of your older uncles that you always thought was cool as fuck in your family. Yeah he talks about the past all the time as might tell a story or 2 over again, but he's so damn entertaining to listen to.

True. Every once and a while you will get some nice lyrical songs from Short. And when I say lyrical I don't mean it in a sense like a Crooked I but his flow will be timeless, the subject matter is dope and it's a cool change of pace.

bought the album off Itunes yesterday, its kinda what i expected but i own all of Too $horts album cus hes one of my favourite artists, yes he may say the same old recycled bullshit but i just never get tired of his voice, EVER.

"Im A Stop" is the best track on this album by far, is that devin on the hook? cause he aint listed in the credits
