definitely doesnt have anythin to do wit the production. he gets great productions served to him constantly, hes just sloppy, tired n uninspired

No. 99% of west coast beat makers are sloppy and uninspired. I don't know what tracks you're hearing...

Nearly all the time rappers like Kurupt are 'going through the motions'. Dude can phone in verses or drop shit while half asleep/blunted to fuck.

pretty sure the production hasnt got anything to do wit Kurupts pengame. ive heard dosens of new Kurupt songs wit great or perfect beats, but shitty verses, including stuff from guys like Mo Bee, BC & Fredwreck. hes naturaly sloppy, tired n uninspired these days, thats all.
i dont think Dr Dre or anybody can help him out wit anythin, only himself. lyricaly, he seems to be at his peak today, when hes around talented lyricists like (for example) Four Hoursemen. thats the motivation he needs ---> fine mc's, competition in the studiobooth. not braindead ppl like Daz (even tho i like Daz & Kurupt-collabos too, in small doses)

^okay, really now, 99 percent? sounds like alot. have u heard all of the "westcoast-beatmakers", UK Will?
nope,  u havent - delusion.
n what point r u tryin to make?
that Kurupt is only rappin to beats by "westcoast-beatmakers",lol?

Typical emotional reaction from you there. U either 'see red' LMFAO or miss the point..

I'll re-word it :-*

99% of music I hear coming out of the West/rap scene in general is musically uninspired, 'samey', cheap sounding, and mediocre at best.....
With the exception of the rare few people (Quik is one) no ones brave enough, or capable of doing something new, or even out of the ordinary.

On a side note, Rap music in general doesn't push any musical boundaries any more, you nearly always get formulaic beats with the emphasis on production sound, not musicality.

Kurupt goes hard on other peoples beats (like the g-mixes) coz the track/beat is already hot, the original artist laid something down that he can jump on, and attempt to do better...he put out good material when he first broke out, and later when he was tryin to prove himself on both coasts, when he was fuckin Foxy lol..... when he was workin on Roscoe's debut, when the pound broke up.. without Daz when they were beefing, and good stuff when they first reunited. And any time he works with Dre.

Good beats, beef, competition, passion. He comes with the heat. And he did great stuff with Quik on BlaQKout (no one liked it...) and better stuff when he was first working with Terrace Martin (Streetlights previews they left off the album).

These 'perfect beats' u say he's been getting on.....why not post a few up?
