I'm curious what incident he was talking about.  He said that it was after Eazy-E died when Death Row did a concert in Cleveland... which I assume was the one that had Pac and Dogg Pound as the headliners performing in 1996 (unless Death Row did multiple concerts there between then and Eazy's passing).  I'd be surprised if it was that same concert, since I thought at least Pac and Bone Thugs were cool since he had run into them at one of the awards shows where they took that picture together, unless he was referring more to the other guys (like Dogg Pound, who Layzie had argued with on the radio alongside Eazy when they called in).

There was another incident that Bizzy Bone mentioned in another interview (which I saw once on YouTube) where he said he had been surrounded at a club by a few guys claiming Death Row, and he stood his ground and claimed Ruthless back at them, but nothing much really happened.  Though with Bizzy being as much of a nutcase as he is, I don't know how accurate or skewed his recollection is.

BG Knocc Out stated there was also similar incidents at a Def Jam party in 95 and at the Billboard awards in 93 where he said Ruthless was like 8 deep and suge and his ppl were 200+ deep, he said guns were also involved but nothing really popped off. and theres also that video at the golf course between Nate & BGKO/Dresta, which was also after E had passed.

Maybe this beef was realer than just diss records n everything. I wonder why The Dogg Pound rarely gets asked about this beef since supposedly all these incidents occured during the beef.

And yea that radio segment was funny lol..you can hear Kurupt tryna calm shit down with Eazy but Daz fucked it up.if u go back n listen to it u can hearDaz was just rambling about shit he doesnt know lol..

Yeah, Daz seemed to not make sense then, just like he doesn't make sense now.  Eazy was cool enough to let them talk uninterrupted (though at the beginning he just told them to try to not cuss since it was on the radio), but then Daz had to throw it off with his bullshit, especially when he would say dumb shit like, "The Doc don't know you," or "I bet you never seen a million dollars" or something like that when obviously Eazy wasn't poor and was the one that Jerry Heller was taking care of, at leats compared to the other N.W.A members.  But at least Eazy was trying to keep things cool, and even when Daz was trying to get gangsta on him, Eazy was talking about how he "got love for the 6-0s."  The only dope thing Daz said was when Layzie jumped into the conversation and said, "If you a true" (since Bone talks about "trues" a lot), and Daz replied, "I'm a GANGSTA."  It came off pretty nice.

Well, at least one defense of the Daz statement, D.O.C. said in an interview that the reason he got on the phone was because Eazy was making it seem like the two of them still had a business relationship. Hence why when Eric says something about "that work", Doc gets serious and says something like "Come on, Eric. Don't get stupid with me on the phone".

That's true... but I think I got mixed up, I think Daz had said something like, "You can talk to me when you sell a million records," or something like that, even though Eazy already had a couple multi-platinum albums by that time, but like you said it was Eazy who responded with the "million dollars" comment.

The biggest beef bone has been in is the one they are in now, with themselves, for like 10 plus years now.

They need an executive producer to put together an album for them

like a dr dre produced bone album.

too bad the only beats dre drops now are earphones.

Dre doesn't seem to be able to put out his own album, let alone albums of his own artists or people who he hasn't ever worked with like Bone Thugs.  They want to work with him, but you know Dre isn't going to give them the friends and family discounted rate for his work.

But I don't think the beef within Bone Thugs is that big of a deal anymore.  They had a period of disagreement, usually with Bizzy being at opposite ends from Krayzie and Wish (since Layzie always seems to be on good terms with everyone), but I think they set a lot of that aside, especially when Flesh got released from prison when they did that Uni5 album.  Even in the interview posted in this thread, the concert footage included in it has them saying that they would bring the other members the next time they performed.

Nice interview.  Interesting how Pac said that he listened to "Crossroads" everyday in prison and how it helped him get through.

Bone Thugs had mentioned that exact story in another interview years back, talking about them crossing paths at a hotel with Pac showing them love and mentioning the song (though given the timeframe, it had to have been the original "Crossroad" song and not "Tha Crossroads" DJ U-Neek remix that became the hit single).

I don't know if they did other shows, but remember that there's footage and audio of the Death Row concerts in both New Orleans and Cleveland in 1996 (mostly of Pac and Dogg Pound with a few other minor Death Row artists), with a few clips of it being on the Tupac Resurrection documentary.  But like I said in a prior post, I don't know if the concert that they referenced was that same one, or another Death Row concert in Cleveland earlier that we may not be aware of.  But considering how Bone didn't seem to have beef with Pac ever, maybe they were still going after Dogg Pound specifically (due to Daz talking shit to Layzie and Eazy on the radio and to Kurupt dissing them on Dogg Pound Gangstaz).
