He's the second best receiver. Andre Johnson is better.


He's amazing but I think that price is too steep. It would have been nice to see him take a hometown discount.

In my eyes, Calvin Johnson is the best wide receiver of all-time. As far as build goes, he's the LeBron James of wideouts. It's not his fault he doesn't have Montana throwing him a football.

not that Stafford will ever win a superbowl but he'll get Calvin the ball plenty

All I'm saying is he isn't Montana. I mean, when I say Calvin is the best, naturally you look at me & say "Jerry?". But QB's make the careers of WR's.

Yes they overpaid, but they didn't really have a choice. They let Johnson walk, they alienate the fans and risk taking steps back. With their history, they can't risk that.

Yes they did have a choice.  They overpaid some.  Tell the fans that they need to spread the wealth around, their still need more help on lb's & secondary.  Don't be like the rams & dolts who only got 1 SB to show for them spending nearly everything on offense.  The Lions weak defense was the main reason they went 0-16 in 2008.
