settle a debate i'm having with my cousin: at any point in his career, was Grant Hill a Top 5 NBA player? (Best year was 99/00, 2nd team NBA...I say no)

If you were old enough to actually see and remember him in his prime, there would be no question, yes he was top 5.Injuries derailed him though. Cool to see him still at it tho.
I always thought Grant Hill (in his prime) was a very good player but just not the superstar caliber player on the level of other greats. I wouldnt consider him a top5 player at any point in his career. Maybe only for one year in 99/00. I think he was really overhyped coming out of Duke as the "next" big thing and IMO never lived up to the hype.
