Is this your first time? if it is, I suggest writing a short or two, slowly building it up from there. But here are some tips.1- Get a story, structure it.2- A beginning, middle, and ending (most important!).3- Make sure the dialogue is realistic, how? by reading it out loud AS you type it.4- Try your best to write it in a script format, get final draft (Get a copy for like 10 bucks) or download that shit.5- Try to be as original as possible, as far as characters go, and their actions.6- As you write, you're brain will automatically brainstorm ideas, write them down, and IGNORE them until you're done with the script you're writing.7- Don't try to put in big words, Keep it simple.
Final Draft 7.0, it's the industry standard for script formatting, it has templates also for you to check out. http://www.zshare.net/download/56264672e5b83154/
