There were a couple of classic soundtracks around that time.... Above the Rim.... MWTC.... The Show...

mind you... we were blessed with alot of classic material from that era.

Just an fyi for collectors out there, that regualte jamming cd single has pain and loyal to the game, but they are so quiet...

The cd single, 'more music from above the rim' has these 2 tracks as they should be in crystal clear audio....

the regualte song also sucks on that jammin cd single.  dont get me wrong, great item to have, but kinda sucks the sounds wasn't loud.

even the promo cd for regulate sounds way better...

as a 2pac fan, do yourself a favor and hear the 2 songs the way they were meant to be heard, go bump the more music form atr single.....

Interesting to hear how many of ya'll were fans of the R&B tracks on the album.  Because I was just bumping this album today actually, and I still have to skip over most the tracks on the album.  But the bangers are all certified Classic Death Row bangers; that I used to play non-stop back in the day.  It was this type of shit that first got me hooked on hiphop.  The Classic songs were...

3.  H-Town-  "Part Time Lover"
4.  Dogg Pound- "Big Pimpin" -  this was my first time hearing Snoop on a track such as this.  I was a kid and didn't know how to take it at first.  I thought it was soft, I was used to hearing him on hard shit like The Chronic and Doggystyle.  I thought maybe he was rich and didn't want to rap hard anymore, lol.   But soon I caught on and bumped the hell out of this track all summer long in 94
7.  Nate Dogg and Warren G-  "Regulators"-  Goes without saying
8.  2pac-  "Pour Out Some Liquor"-  Just another great Pac record.
10.  Rage-  "Afro Puffs" -  People forget what a great job Dre did producing this song.  Snoop also did his part, and this track was hard as fuck but yet had great crossover appeal.  I even remember rich suburban girls being into it.

..."Dogg Pound 4 Life" sounded great when it was Live on the Show documentary.  But this version didn't ever sound right to me.
