so i thought lets have a compilation of all the 1st hand Detox proclamations and related tomfoolery we've had over the years, seeing as though the record is on the backburner for good/cancelled at this stage. all trolls, haters, euros, dre-nerds, transexuals and all-round weirdos are welcome. any blue sweater and studio pics are also encouraged! i'm going to start it off with a few choice picks...

Bishop Lamont & Dr. Dre Detox The Reformation Uncut - once upon a time, back in the day before everyone had a facebook and myspace was cool, Dr. Dre appeared alongside Bishop Lamont in this short video clip. Dre told us to look out for Bishop's album and that it was 'hawt' and Mr Lamont teased 'Detox, September bitchezz!' We later learnt twas Damizza behind the camera and in reality, they had barely completed any songs for this version of Detox. Bishop's album was also cancelled due to lack of support and general apathy from Jimmy The Jew Iovine.

Dr Dre talks Detox and says "Under Pressure" is not finished - skip forward a few years and a couple of shitty 50 Cent/Eminem albums later, Detox is back on the agenda. Dre is talking on the leak of his new, but unfinished single with Jay-Z. seems the leaked version was highly incomplete (certainly sounds that way) but he's trying to give people something that won't dissapoint and is going back to the lab to get things cracking.

Dr. Dre And Dj iroc Chop It Up About DETOX!! Back Stage At The Jay Z And Eminem Concert - September 2010, Dre is backstage at a gig after perfoming on-stage with Eminem. He promises that the album will be 'all new shit' and to trust him 'it will not be anticipointment'. DJ iroc gleefully proclaims 'Detox Baby, coming!'

[Detox Is A Myth!!!]

Detox is a myth!!!!  Dr. Dre as a musical artist is more or less retired.  He's using the Detox brand as a revenue stream, that's all it is -- a marketing brand.

There was never a Detox musical album near to completion, because that wasn't the point.  That was the carrot Interscope used to lure us in, and the headphones and so forth were the sticks.

Detox has always been a myth, and I was one of the first to say it.  Was clowned at first by many, but it's now accepted reality by most.  Time will always reveal the truth to the masses, and it indeed has done so here.
