This is stupid. It's not like dude hit him in the head, he just threw at his back in a "welcome to the big leagues" way, then Bryce one upped him. That's one of the things that makes baseball fun, but I guess it's not about fun anymore.

I disagree. Now I played baseball for many years, and I'm all for the" old school" style. I think pitching inside and even hitting players is part of the game. But, telling the media that you did something is not. He should have kept his trap shut and everybody would have been fine. Zimmerman plunked him so it's all fair. Not sure why hamels hit Harper as his explaination was kinda weird. Bottom line, if he wanted to hit him, just do it, and don't talk about it. He deserves a suspension for running his mouth like a dumbass.

They should have brought Harper in to pitch to Hammels. Harper throws harder than Hammels:)

Yeah, it wasn't smart of Hammels to say anything about it, just annoys me regardless.
