lol, this squad and the whole england situation is a joke. how jeffers, upson and king are in the squad i dont know.

and how do players like konchesky and parker get in ahead of gareth barry who has been playin really well lately???

Wright and Rooney do deserve to be in the squad but some of the selections are poor. Gareth Barry and Defore should be in. I think Upson has got talent but shouldn't be called up yet. I'd rate Terry and Dawson higher then Ledley King. Thank god Carragher hasnt been called up. He choose a good set of midfielders, Lampard and Jenas definetely deserve to play at some part. I'd have put Carrick in ahead of Danny Murphy.

Oh and why hasn't Platt called Tonge up to the U21's yet. Pull your finger out nobhead.

He'll definetely start with Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Campbell, Neville, Owen, Scholes, and Beckham.

Its only a friendly! Its better to give these players a chance now in a friendly rather a chance in the important games. I am glad that Wright has been called up cos he deserves it but as for Wayne, dont get me wrong I am made up for the lad but I think that maybe its a bit to early for him. I would of liked to of seen Barry, Terry, Defoe all in the squad.
