Triple OG Rapsodie

he became - what other people have previously mentioned -> "boring", "repetitive", and it didn't help the fact that the quantity of material being put out by him was mixtape filler, with poor production. It has devalued his image over the years and solidified his position as a "mixtape rapper". No better than a cyserro, or papoose, and once you're seen as a mixtape rapper, it's literally impossible to crawl out of.

It's not impossible to get out of, its that these guys don't seem to have an album in them in the first place. Is it anyone's fault but Crooked that he hasn't put out an album by now? He's a mixtape rapper because he chooses to be.

His last chance to go gold was with Say Hi to the Bad Guy, at a time albums similar could achieve that status. It would have been a good thing to have on his resume. Streetz is a mutha wouldn't go gold in 2012. It'd do well, and have a somewhat cult status, but with the way some hot albums sell these days, the days of unknown rap albums going gold are gone. The game has had too much garbage being released consistently over the years resulting in watering down Hip Hop to a point where people, even rap fans sometimes overlook decent albums due to confidence issues within the game now, and I don't blame them

He can release a solid West Coast classic, no doubt. He has the ability to drop heat still, and if he has the right production team behind him, but the problem is, his chance to make it big time as a 'solo' artist has gone.

Look at all the other classic West Coast albums that never got mainstream thumbs up... Streetz is a Mutha is one I can think of

I don't really care if he doesn't make it "big". I just want him to release the solo. Im sure he will. He has to! In a way, his career is really just starting with Slaughterhouse. Soon we will get his solo LP. The problem has always been the business side of things. It will come guys.
