Props to Kobe...
« on: May 22, 2012, 05:10:20 PM »
If you look at Kobe's performances in past elimination games, he has been subpar. It was great to see Kobe go down fighting and dropping 42.  Kobe showed he's got lots in the tank. He got his, and finally shot efficiently. No he didn't even manage one assist, but 42 is 42

Bynum on the other hand, was almost none existent. He is mad inconsistent.

I'm the last person who would compare Kobe with MJ. I've been critical of him a lot in the past; bringing MJ into this is too easy. Of course Kie isn't Jordan

Anyway, my original post stands. Nothing to do with jordan

yeah Kobe will never be Jordan

i mean just the fact that MJ never had a player like Shaq to play with says it all.  Kobe doesn't win a ring without Shaq being there all 3 years.

Wow this forum is predictable!! Nearly everyone knows Kobe will never be Jordan, I'm not sure what that has to do with this thread.

I've always been hard on Kobe for bitching out in elimination games, virtually quitting, so I thought I should recognize him ballin outta control last night.

Kobe will never be Jordan in terms of accomplishments.... in terms of skill, Kobe still has a shot 2 end his career in GOAT discussions. what he did this year 16 seasons in was better than any player in NBA history 16 seasons in. I doubt we see LeBron or Wade or any1 performing at this level 16 seasons in. And if he carries this into season 17, which i assume he will, shit will be even more amazin... It would be a damn shame if the Lakers didn't get Kobe some help so that he could win a couple more before he retires.
