D-Will to sign with the Nets
« on: July 03, 2012, 04:40:38 PM »
5 years, 100 mill.... Wow. Now they can't fux with Dwight anymore, unless he takes a major paycut. Even without Dwight, they're still a pretty damn good team on paper. Very overlooked.

Good for that franchise.  Dwight is trouble anyway, the guy is a 5 yr old in a grown ass man's body.

IF those guys are all healthy that is not a bad deal at all

Humphries is the most under rated forward in the league due to his ex wife humiliating him and Lopez is the shit if healthy

I agree, that looks more appetizing than and straight up Bynum/Howard swap. Dont get me wrong i love Bynum, but if u can get a scrapper like Humphries, a good young talent in Brooks and a solid center in Lopez in a league nowadays where u dont really need a dominate big man to be sucessful, I'd take that deal

plus look at what Dwight did for Orlando when he was there

he clearly wasn't going to take them any further if he stays another 3-4 years.  not with that roster.

lol at a bunch of decent pieces being a better package than arguably the best center in the league at the age of 24

And what im saying is that you dont need "the best center in the league" in today's NBA to be sucessful.. so if you can get a few more pieces plus a center that is pretty damn productive in Lopez rather than just a player/player swap, yea, I think thats a better deal

Yeah, Dwight is a bitch no doubt, but if he went on a team with D-Will and Joe Johnson and was competing for championships I doubt he'd be complaning.

lol, that's a valid point. The Magic are willing to do anything in their power to keep Dwight. While for the last year or so all the Lakers keep trying to do is ship Bynum...and all rumors have been for Dwight lmao.

Eh, they obviously want to move Gasol,  I get the sense they want to keep Bynum though, don't really see a whole lot behind those rumors.

I think they wanted Dwight for Bynum. It's just the Magic wouldn't do it straight up.
