Filming Of The N.W.A Movie Begins (Dr.Dre on the set...)

There has been talk about an N.W.A movie for a few years now, and now, it looks as though filming is finally underway. Dr. Dre tweeted a picture of him and director F. Gary Gray on the set earlier. Sounds like there will be more to come from these two in the future also, as he writes, "Dre & F Gary Gray - The NWA Movie kicks off the collaboration! Expect more incredible projects from this powerhouse duo." See the pic above, and stay tuned for more news on the production of the film.

"Notorious" was iight.  I don't c how u could hate on it.  Gravy or Guerilla Black coulda did it either way. 


I DO hope that they do this movie justice tho.  Even tho I'd b perfect for the film

that movie was a parody compare to how it coulda been done. i'm glad f. gary gray is involved his name has been attached to quality  for years and years. they are not gonna put you in the film. LOL

The Biggie film was like a soft watered down mommas boy version.

I am hoping the N.W.A flick is more in line with Goodfellas/Casino type narration.

Cube got input from everyone that was around NWA, and even got Eazy's side of the beef on there when he broke up with them. I think this will be a great movie. Sometimes reality is better than fiction, especially when that reality is NOT set up reality TV.
