I came to the conclusion that not enough interest was the answer too. One week to go, probably not enough tickets sold. Super-pissed because I wanted to see DJ Quik. Saw Snoop + Tha Dogg Pound in the same venue last year. Quik should so a solo gig in London, how random was it to have E40 + Quik together when they haven't even rapped on the same song to my memory. Both have gone down in my estimations because of this, WHATEVER the reason.

word it's dissapointing. i've been wanting to see quik here for a while. i also think a solo gig would be best and the jazz cafe would be ideally suited to the sort of live shows he does. would be amazing. it's all good though. best chance to catch him will probably be in amsterdam sometime, possibly france, or while visiting the US.

Everybody should hit 'em up on Twitter. They deserve it. @E40, @djquik. I bought 4 tickets for people who NEVER even heard of them, I'm left to explain it to them. FUCK THEM. They independent, baller-status rappers ("Playa's Ball"), but when the concert doesn't sell enough, they pull out. PAY out of your own POCKET, theres no reason thats reasonable. I see your broke asses. I hope they read this. Snoop hasn't pulled out of a concert, thats the difference between the best on the west & the rest.

I don't think lack of interest was the reason. There were 68 tickets left yesterday when I bought mine from HMV; those would have gone by next Saturday.
Visa issues may be behind the cancellation.
