Cassel's career thus far has been exactly as I've predicted it would be, going back to 08. He was brought up in a certain system that relies heavily on said system and the OC related to it. The biggest mistake Pioli did was not firing Haley, it was not being able to get McDaniels to come in last year. Had they been able to swing that they'd be running an offense right now that would be very similar in results to what NE is running. The real nugget of gold that Pioli could do is try and figure out a way to get Dante Scarnecchia to come over, and for that I'd offer a boat of money and the HC position. Romeo would have to go back to DC with 100% control of the defense. Now there is no way to get McDaniels if they get Dante because Scott would then take over as Asst. HC in NE, but you can grab Godsey or O'Shea. There's no getting O'Brien from Penn, but you may be able to attract Brian Ferentz to come back to the NFL.That above is your answer, which all would not have been needed had Peyton simply decided on KC, like I said he should have.

Daboll used to be with the Patriots. So I can't imagine the system is that different, but I still get your point. So far your predictions with the Chiefs have usually been correct.Do you think there is any chance they turn it around and remain competitive in the division? The defense is locked in now and started to play great... and Jamal Charles and Dwayne Bowe are having Pro-Bowl years... maybe Brady Quinn comes in and saves the day?
