1) On "Get at Me," in the verse where Quik splices in the line from "Bitch Betta Have My Money," it seems pretty clear that he's dissing AMG. Why were Quik and AMG beefing in 1995?

2) On "The Truth Is," Quik disses somebody and the name is bleeped out. Any idea who it is? Dr. Dre?

3) "Y'all failed and I went platinum in that same year" - I'm guessing this is a diss on AMG? Quik Is the Name went platinum in 1995, AMG dropped a low selling album in 1995. Any other contenders?

4) Does AMG eat TV dinners?

AMG does in fact eat tv dinners.

He said it in an interview with Hip Hop DX in 08 (dont got a link, sorry bro).  Nigga eats swanson, hungry man, and also healthy choice when hes cutting carbs.

Quik mentions TV dinners in a few of his diss songs. In "I'm Toe Up," I think, he disses somebody who is "living like a has-been sharing a stouffer's."

That line always makes me imagine AMG and D from 2nd II none wearing his couch down eating TV dinners.

a lot of people hate on quik's rapping ability, but i think his diss songs/lines are humorously vicious.  and although he and quik have had quite the falling out, i think amg is the second best rapper from his crew (behind suga free of course).  i never picked up on the tv dinner lines, but that's some funny shit.

Yeah, Quik is obviously a smart motherfucker...you gotta be smart to make beats like that...and he shows off his intelligence HARD when he's dissing people.

^i completely agree.  i would even venture to say the man is a genius, nothing short of brilliant.  and those two terms are unfortunately grossly overused.  but in quik's case, i think it's totally fitting.
