exactly. i think the short / 40 combo is overrated anyway. only like a handful of their collabos (doin the fool, player's ball, cali-o, bitch). especially since short is washed up in my book nowadays. a 40 / B-legit album would have been the shit even to this day (shit they dropped heat on the revenue retrievins & block brochures) but i guess they don't have the same commercial appeal.

dunno about the classic potential, but we'll definitely get beats that slap, function or mob music as we did for 40's latest projects. but i do think most of short's verses nowadays are either boring or trash, while 40 keeps it interesting, however repetitive some of his verses can sound. he still has funny wordplay, rhymes and flow.
